The Capital District, NY Branch is in the heart of upstate NY.It’s the perfect hub to see everything that the area has to offer from the Capital to the Catskills to the Adirondacks.We are also close to Southern Vermont and Western Massachusetts and can accommodate deliveries to those areas.

Moose Hillock

This campground features large wooded sites and an amazing heated tropical themed swimming pool where outdoor movies are featured during the peak season. It’s close location to Lake George, makes it a great base to discover everything the area has to offer.

Rip Van Winkle

Located in the Catskills, this campground offers wooded sites, a pool, multiple playgrounds, and a pond with fishing and paddle boating.Make sure to visit the Lighthouse in Saugerties, NY which is a short drive from the campground and offers a short walking trail to the lighthouse point.

A bit Leery At First

  • Six Flags Great Escape and Splash Water Kingdom Located in Queensbury, NY, just 6 miles from Lake George this amusement park features over 135 rides and attractions, including thrill rides, family rides, and an outdoor waterpark.
  • Saratoga Casino & Race Track The Saratoga casino offers over 1700 slot machines and electronic gaming tables.During July-September visit the 3rd oldest racetrack in the US to watch the flat and harness horse races.
  • New York State Museum – The NYS Museum, located in Albany, NY is a center of art, science, and history for the entire state.The 100,000 square foot building houses exhibits such as the World Trade Center, Minerals of NY and a working carousel.

STATE PARKS, LAKES AND TRAILS

State Parks are plentiful in New York. There is no shortage of breathtaking landscape for outdoor enthusiasts to explore.
  •  Prospect Mountain– Located in Lake George, this mountain has panoramic views of Lake George & the Adirondacks. It is a great spot to hike or drive up to see the breathtaking views from the top.
  • Grafton Lake State Park – This State park consists of 6 ponds and almost 2500 acres.There is a long sandy beach, playgrounds, fishing and launch sites for canoes, kayaks, and rowboats.There are also 25 miles of trails which you can hike or bike.The park is open in the winter for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing.
  • Saratoga National Historical Park – Visit the Saratoga Battlefield and Saratoga Monument to discover the history of the area.The park also offers hiking & biking trails.
